The Studio at Half Pint Productions

After overseeing more than 15,000 auditions for 6 Broadway musicals, 12 National tours, and several international productions, Broadway Producer, Dani Davis, and Broadway composer, Jason Howland, created The Studio at Half Pint Productions to nurture the work of professional musical theater artists in New York City.

The Studio is now over 200 members strong, and features some of the best and brightest performers found both on and off the Broadway stage; since joining the studio, seven out of ten have booked employment. Studio members have been featured in AVENUE Q (Broadway), THE BOY FROM OZ (Broadway), THE FULL MONTY (National Tour), GYPSY (Broadway), JEKYLL & HYDE (Broadway and National Tour), LES MISERABLES (Broadway and National Tour), THE LION KING (Broadway and National Tour), LITTLE WOMEN – the musical (Broadway and National Tour), NINE (Broadway), TITANIC (National Tour), URINETOWN (National Tour), WICKED (Broadway and National Tour), and countless workshops, festivals, regional, and international theater productions.

The Studio’s philosophy focuses on the uniqueness of the individual combined with their personal heroism and hope, as it aplies to the art of musical theater.
